Towards the energy estimators and pulse shape variables in JUNO experiment

The final goal of the JUNO project is the determination of the neutrino mass hierarchy. An unprecedented energy resolution of 3% at 1 MeV is a must to reach this.
The work covers developing the procedures, methods, and algorithms of extracting the times and charges of individual PMT hits from the acquired and simulated waveforms. These are the prerequisites for optimizing the energy estimators and pulse-shape variables in a liquid scintillator detector as JUNO, being the basis of the success of the project.
