Hadron Physics Summer School

HPSP 2014 / HPSS 2014

Location

The school will take place and all participants will be accommodated at the conference venue Schloss Rauischholzhausen of the University of Gießen.

Costs

There is no registration fee. Accomodation for the time of the school including meals and coffee breaks in the conference venue will be covered by the organisers. Travel expenses as well as additional beverages and drinks (which can be bought at the conference venue) have to be paid by the participants.

Travel Information

Most participants probably arrive on Frankfurt Airport (FRA). If you travel via a different airport, please feel free to contact Eric Gutz (Eric.Gutz@exp2.physik.uni-giessen.de) for travel assistance.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to Frankfurt main station (Frankfurt(Main) Hbf)

From Frankfurt Airport to Frankfurt main station (Frankfurt(Main) Hbf) there is a good connection via commuter railway (S-Bahn), lines S8 (direction: Offenbach(Main) Ost) or S9 (direction: Hanau Hbf, departing from platform 'Regio 1' at least every 15 minutes. Third stop from the airport is Frankfurt(Main) Hbf (travel time approx. 12 minutes).

Frankfurt main station (Frankfurt(Main) Hbf) to Giessen main station (Giessen Hbf)

You have various options to get to Giessen main station from Frankfurt main station. The three easiest options are:

Giessen main station to Schloss Rauischholzhausen

We will provide a shuttle transfer to the venue of the HPSS. Details on this will be made available after review of the itineraries of the participants.
