Dear colleagues,

let me inform you on the following:

1. Papers:
 - the PLB paper (D. Mchedlishvili et al.) "Excitation of the Delta(1232)
   isobar in deuteron charge exchange on hydrogen at 1,6, 1.8, and 2.3 GeV" 
   has been published in PLB 726, 135 (2013). CONGRATULATIONS !

 - the PLB paper prepared by EDITORIAL team (V. Shmakova et al.,) -
   "First measurements of spin correlations in the  pol{n}pol{p} -> d\pi^0
   reaction" - has been accepted and proofs are send back. CONGRATULATIONS !

2. ANKE beam time (November/December):
   the preparatory work for ANKE experiments (#213.1, #219) has been started.
   The cluster target exchange with the polarized internal gas target will take 
   place during the maintenance weeks (#40, #41) which have started today.
   The new openable cell tests with the COSY beam will be the major step 
   towards the production experiments.
 
3. CANU/FFE workshop (16/17 December):
   The annual CANU meeting + FFE workshop at Bad Honnef will take place in 
   this year during December 16/17. Please, make your suggestions for the talks.

4. Annual report:
   we have started (in this year early) to collect articles for the Highlights 
   section of 2013 (!). Please, inform us whether you would like to contribute.
