Papers: - the PLB paper - 'Measurement of the in-medium Phi-meson width in proton-nucleus collisions'- (A. Polianskiy et al.), has been reviewed and resubmitted around middle of September and now we are waiting (hopefully) positive decision. The resubmitted version is available via our web. - the PLB paper (special letter prepared by Yu. Valdau and C. Wilkin): - 'The measuerement of the pp->K+nSigma(+) reaction near threshold' - has been reviewed by two referees and got positive statements with suggestions for moderate revision. The resubmitted version will be available soon. 2. SPIN'10 (27 Sep. - 2 Oct.): the SPIN2010 conference is over ! We had a very successful meeting where many interesting new results/ideas were presented from the ANKE collaboration. Now it is the time to prepare the corresponding proceedings. The anticipated deadline is December 1, 2010. We would like to take this opportunity to THANK all of our young colleagues from IKP for technical support during the conference. 3. Beirat meeting (28/29 October): there will be the hadron physics program advisory council meeting in Juelich, where will be presented the actual research program of the institute and plans for near-future and long-term perspectives. 4. PAX/ANKE meeting (13/14 December): there is a plan to meet in December for discussion a specially of the software development for the silicon detector analysis, as well as to discuss the plans/experiments for 2011 ("Forward Look"). 5. CANU/FFE workshop (21/22 December): The annual CANU meeting + FFE workshop at Bad Honnef will take place in this year during December 21/22. There is a suggestion for several talks from ANKE: S.Dymov, S.Barsov, M.Mikirtychyants, K.Grigoryev, and V.Shmakova Best regards, Andro
