Last week we had in IKP the ANKE software meeting. The main idea of the meeting was to discuss the actual status of current software, its maintenance and needs for the further development in view of having in mind upcoming double-polarization measurements (2007), which will include eventually additional STT modules and the PIT target. It was stressed that such a concept to have common structured software under the ANKE project will be very desirable for spin filtering experiments and PAX project at all. We have identified the "core team" from the ANKE collaboration, who wants to contribute to this new activities and are able so start immediately. These colleagues are: M.Hartmann, S.Trusov, S.Barsov, S.Dymov, G.Macharashvili, D.Chiladze, M.Nekipelov, M.Mikirtytchiants. We hope, in a later stage this list will be extended with new names. The next meeting will be held in IKP, 2nd of November (14h) and will be addressed to the plans how to start. Please, be aware of these facts and your suggestions, remarks, contributions and wish's are welcome ! 2. IMPORTANT: Recently, we got request from JuNet-Management to send them the IP addressis of the PC's from the ANKE collaboration wich needs access from the outside world. Please, inform us about that until November 15 (!) otherwise such connection will not be available after December 4. 3. IMPORTANT: Peter Wuestner told us that for the next ANKE beam time we will not be able take data without deleting old data from the data disks on ikpp01. At the moment there are not only data from data taking but also other (like for example those once rescued from Koptev's machine). All data, for which no response comes in, will be deleted starting from Novemeber 15. Please make that absolutely clear. Best regards, Andro Kacharava
