Dear colleagues,


let me inform you on the following:

1. Papers:
-  a draft of a paper prepared by EDITORIAL team (Vladimir Kurbatov and others
   as given in the author list) for submission to PLB - "Energy dependence of 
   forward 1S_0 diproton production in the pp-->(pp)pi0 reaction" - is available 
   from our home page.
--> Please have a look at the paper, and give comments and
    suggestions for possible changes to improve it even further,
    checking especially the areas of your special expertise.
--> Deadline for replies regarding the above paper is 28-th of November 2007.
--> Please, send your comments etc., to the Editorial team and to me.

After the deadline, the ET will take the responsibility to consider all
input, prepare the final paper (including the author list) and then
give a brief chance for further comments before submission.

-  a paper - "Lineshape of the lambda(1405) hyperon measured through its
   \Sigma^(o)\pi^(o) decay"- has been submitted to PLB on 6-th of November.
 
2. PAC:
   Currently we are submitting a (late) Proposal/Beam Request:
   - "Precision measurement of the eta mass at COSY" (Spokesperson Alfons Khoukaz),
   for the coming PAC session (#34, Nov 26/27).
   The document is available from our home page.

3. DPG meeting:
   Let me remind you that the deadline for submission of the short abstracts
   of the talks is November 26 (!). Please, prepare the abstacts ASAP !

4. ANKE calendar:
   Now we are preparing the ANKE calendar for 2008 - "10 Years of ANKE Experiments  
   (998-2008)". Please, give your suggestions/materials for the best possible content.
    
5. Forward Look:
   The annual meeting "Forward Look" will take place in this year
   on 14-th of December, at IKP.
