Papers: - a paper - "The dp->ppn reaction as a method to study neutron-proton charge-exchange amplitudes"- (D. Chiladze et al., ) has been published on-line in EPJA: DOI 10.1140/epja/i2008-10732-2 (March'09). - there are several drafts in preparation: (i) on the measurements of the dd->He4 K+K- reaction (X. Yuan); (ii) on the dp->He3 eta cross section measurements at higher excess energies (T. Rausmann); (iii) on the precise COSY beam momentum determination (P. Goslawski); (iv) on the deuteron breakup pd->(pp)n study at GeV energies (Dubna group); (v) on Sigma(+) cross section measurements (Yu. Valdau), and others ... 2. Beam time: we had a very successful 4 weeks of beam time for kaon pair production in pp interaction (Exp. #191, M. Hartmann). Thanks everybody who helped us to make success for this experiment ! Now we are in the process to prepare the measurements with polarised proton beams (Exp#158, A.Kulikov; Exp#192, S.Dymov) in a calendar weeks: #14 - #18. The sequence of the steps for MD week, as well as plans for BT weeks will be provided soon separately. 3. DPG meeting: next week there will be the DPG spring meeting in Bochum. ANKE will be presented only with two talks given by Tobias Rausmann and Paul Goslawski. Unfortunately, due to the high fee rate for participation, several talks from ANKE have been canceled. 4. POF-2: the POF-2 evaluation has been very successful, according to first oral remarks of the committee, which took place in middle of February at GSI. The written details are expected around May 2009. We expect that the COSY accelerator will run for the full funding period (till 2015). The ANKE experiments will continue data taking at least (!) up to 2013. The internal discussions for the further options of "must do" experiments beyond of this time period, can start now. 5. Analysis meeting (5/6 May): we have discussed here that it will be good to organize the 2 day's "Analysis Meeting" in Juelich immediately after the next ANKE beam time, on 5/6 of May. The items for the discussion could be: the status of the "on-going" experiments, the status of analysis for already taken data, status for different paper drafts, preparation for the upcoming PAC meetings, new proposals/ideas and new opportunities from different groups, suggestions/discussions for "must do" experiments, and so on ... Further suggestions are welcome ! 6. Dubna workshop (20/27 June): let me remind you that the Dubna meeting with the title "ANKE/PAX Workshop on Spin Physics", will take place in Dubna, 22-26 June 2009. The workshop web site is available and can be reached from the ANKE web (see folder "events"). Please, register ! 7. Other conferences: please, keep in mind the upcoming international conferences: NSTAR'09 and QNP'09 (Beijing), FewBody'09 (Bonn), PSTP'09 (Ferrara), EINN'09 (Milos), ... Suggestions for contributions are welcome ! Best regards, Andro Kacharava
