Dear colleagues,


let me inform you on the following:

1. Papers:
 - a draft of a paper prepared by EDITORIAL team (A. Dzyuba and others as
   given in author list) for submission to PLB - 'Coupled-channel effects 
   in the pp->ppK+K- reaction' - is available from our home page.

--> Please have a look at the paper, and give comments and
    suggestions for possible changes to improve it even further,
    checking especially the areas of your special expertise.
--> Deadline for replies regarding the above paper is 1-th of July 2008.
--> Please, send your comments etc., to Colin Wilkin and to me.


After the deadline, the ET will take the responsibility to consider all
input, prepare the final paper (including the author list) and then
give a brief chance for further comments before submission.

 - we have received review reports on our NIM paper -'Beam profile
   measurements for the development of storage cells at the ANKE facility 
   of COSY' (K. Grigoryev and others). To satisfy the referees comments, 
   work is in progress and the modified version is intended for resubmission 
   within the next weeks.

   Those who are interested in the reports, please contact K. Grigoryev. 

2. BT schedule:
   The final beam-time schedule (August 2008 - April 2009) was discussed 
   today on COSY coordination meeting and will be available on-line soon.
   The next PAC meeting is scheduled in 1/2 December 2008.

3. PAX workshop (reminder):
   The 409th Heraeus Seminar on "Polarized Antiprotons", will take place
   at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef next week from June 23 - 25, 2008.
   There will be a bus from Juelich to Bad Honnef (and back) for the 
   trasnportation of the Juelich participants. On Monday, bus leaves
   7:00 from bahnhof Juelich (be in time !!!).
