Dear colleagues,

let me inform you on the following:

1. Papers:

 - The PRL paper "Precision study of the eta-He3 system using dp->He3eta reaction" 
   prepared by Timo Mersmann and others has been submitted on 29-th of January.
   CONGRATULATIONS to Timo and many thanks to Colin !
   We wish all the best for Timo in his new place at Krefeld as a teacher !
 - The "omega" paper (S.Barsov et al.) has been published in EPJ A31, 95 (2007).
 - The theoretical paper on the analysis of ANKE data (Yu.Uzikov et al.) 
   has been published in PRC 75, 014008 (2007).
   In this issue of PRC appeared another three papers from COSY: F.Bellemann et al. 
   (MOMO K+K-), V. Grishina et al. on theoretical analysis of MOMO data, and
   H.H.Adam et al. (COSY-11 eta production).  Remarkable success of COSY !
 - The "pentaquark" paper (M.Nekipelov et al.) has been accepted by  "Journal of
   Physics G" -> CONGRATULATIONS !


2. Beam-Time:

 - We had a very successful 2 weeks of beam-time on the experiments: 
   1 week for commissioning PIT and STT (#146.2, #159) + 1 week data taking
   for double-polarized Charge-Exchange reaction (#172). 
   During this beam-time we also took in parallel data on dp->He3 pio and dp
   elastic reactions (last one using silicon detector system), as well as
   on the high momentum transfer break-up reaction.
   We have at ANKE the FIRST DOUBLE-POLARIZED data sample on the reactions:
   d(pol)p(pol)-> CE break-up, dp elastic, quasi-free np->dpi0 (both
   branches),  He3 pi0, ... !
   CONGRATULATIONS TO WHOLE COSY for the success of this experiment !

 - Now we are in the preparation of 5 weeks beam-time for the proposal 
   "phi in medium"  (#147.2), which will start in 10 days from now.

3. Annual Report (URGENT):

  We have started to collect articles for the Annual Report of the IKP. 
  These articles should be finalized until the middle (15 !!!) of February.
  Please, take into account sufficient time for proof-reading.
