Papers: - the TWO PLB pion papers has been finalized and submitted today ! Congratulations ! - a draft of the paper prepared by EDITORIAL team (A. Polianskiy et al.,) for submission to PRC - "Momentum dependence of the phi-meson nuclear transparency" - is available from our home page. --> Please have a look at the paper, and give comments and suggestions for possible changes to improve it even further, checking especially the areas of your special expertise. --> Deadline for replies regarding the above papers is 24 of December 2011. --> Please, send your comments etc., to the editorial team. 2011 certainly was another successful year for the ANKE collaboration: - We have published and submitted a number of papers, and much more are in the pipeline ! - A bunch of new results has been reported in many international conferences - e.g. EXA'11, BORMIO'11, MESON'11, srEDM'11, PSTP'11, STORI'11, and in other workshops; - We had progress in different frontiers, especially ANKE was sucessful in getting the long beam times in double-polarized measurements for pion program; - The end-of-year meeting at IKP showed very positive indications for the continuation of our physics program in the years to come. As a brief outlook to 2012, we would like to remind you on our upcoming beam-time in May/June (ANKE) with polarized intrenal target, and on the date for the next PAC-meeting (14/15 May, 2012). As in the past, very well prepared proposals/BR have to be submitted. We wish you and your families a merry and peaceful Christmas and health and happiness in the New Year !
