Papers: - the paper - "Measurement of the pn->dK+K- total cross section close to threshold" (Y.Maeda et al.), has been submitted to PRC (rapid comm.) - the paper - "Neutron-proton charge-exchange amplitudes at 585 MeV" (D.Chiladze et al.), has been submitted to EPJA. 2. PAC#36: according to the discussions at the last PAC meeting, the final decision on ANKE proposal #195 - "Investigation of FSI in the pd->He3 K+K- reaction near threshold" (Spok. A.Dzyuba), has been postponed up to the next PAC meeting in September 7/8, 2009. The new proposal from ANKE/PAX collaboration #198 has been accepted and granted 1 week beamtime. 3. Beamtime: final scheduling of the ANKE beamtimes (11 weeks!) in the first half of 2009 will be available after CANU meeting. For the time being the PRELIMINARY scheduling is such: the first 3 weeks in January is fixed for maintenace; the weeks 4,5,6 is devoted to the TOF experiment (#141.4) with polarized proton beam; then weeks 7,8,9,10 is the ANKE experiment #191 (M.Hartmann) with unpolarized proton beam. After that will follow the ANKE experiments: 1 MD week + 1 week #158.2 (A.Kulikov) + 3 weeks #192 (S.Dymov) with polarized proton beam. After the next maintenance weeks (??) in April (after the installation of the ABS), will follow the double-polarized experiment 1+4 weeks #172.1 in May (A.Kacharava). 4. CANU/FFE workshop (15/16 December): The annual CANU meeting + FFE workshop at Bad Honnef will take place in this year during December 15-16. There is a suggestion for several talks from ANKE: M.Hartmann, S.Dymov, A.Khoukaz, R.Engels, M.Mikirtychiants, and k.Grigoriev 5. DPG meeting (March 16-20): Let me remind you that the deadline for submission of the short abstracts of the talks is December 15 (!). Please, register and submit the abstracts ASAP ! 6. Annual report: In this year it is rather urgent to prepare in time the Annual report contributions, because of POF-2 evaluation is forseen in second half of February 2009. Please, prepare your promised articles which could be identified from the list available on ANKE web! 7. Forward Look: Let me inform you, that the annual meeting "Forward Look" will take place on 19-th of December, at IKP. The accompanying party will be postponed until February. On February 9/10, 2009, we will have a "Wilkin-Fest" on the occasion of Colin Wilkin's 70-th birthday. Programme will be announced soon. Best regards, Andro Kacharava
