Papers: - a paper - 'Observation of inverse diproton photodisintegration at intermediate energies ' - has been accepted for publication in PRL. CONGRATULATIONS to the Editorial team and whole ANKE collaboration! - we have received referee reports on our PLB paper - 'Coupled-channel effects in the pp->ppK+K- reaction'. The first referee agrees to publish the paper as it is, while the second one suggests a small revision, which has been done by Colin and the paper has been resubmitted to PLB on 18-th of August. The modified version is available from our home page. Those who are interested in the reports, please contact C. Wilkin. - due to some 'technical problems' in the communication with the EPJA WEB side, we have to wait decision on our resubmitted EPJ paper -'Interpretation of K^(+)Kbar^(o) pair production in pp collisions' (A. Dzyuba and others). - there are several paper DRAFTs in preparation, which will be discussed during Colins visit in next week (24/08-31/08). 2. Beam-Time: we had a successful 2 week beam-time for the proposal 'omega production in pn channel' (EXP.#175). During this beam-time we took data within the new DAQ system. The major effort in preparation of this system by ZEL (Peter Wuestner and others) is kindly acknowledged by the whole ANKE collaboration. 3. PAC: we are open for internal discussions about which the new Proposals/Beamtime requests from ANKE/PAX to be presented at the upcoming PAC (session #36, December 1/2) and beyond. Please, keep in mind that the DEADLINE for the submission of the documents is around 20th of October (6 weeks before the PAC meeting)! 4. Conference proceedings: there are several conference proceedings (MESON'08, STORI'08) in preparation. Those who are interested in these contributions, please contact me. Best regards, Andro Kacharava
