Dear colleagues,


1. Papers:
 - a draft of the paper prepared by EDITORIAL team (X. Yuan et al.,)
   for submission to EPJA - "Measurement of the isospin-filtering dd->He4 K+K- 
   reaction at Q=39 MeV" - is available from our home page. 

--> Please have a look at the paper, and give comments and
    suggestions for possible changes to improve it even further,
    checking especially the areas of your special expertise.
--> Deadline for replies regarding the above paper is 1-st of May 2009.
--> Please, send your comments etc., to the editorial team.

After the deadline, the ET will take the responsibility to consider all
input, prepare the final paper (including the author list) and then
give a brief chance for further comments before submission.


 - we have received second report from referee on our PRL paper - 
   "Observation of an ABC effect in proton-proton collisions".
   It is not FINALLY accepted but, as the editor has written: "the acceptance 
   of your paper for publication is likely"  after the consideration of some 
   minor changes (which we did!).
   CONGRATULATIONS !  

2. Beam time:
   we have successfully fineshed the measurements with hyndrogen target
   (Exp#158 - A.Kulikov) and now have started to take data with the polarized 
   proton beam and the deuterium cluster target (Exp#192 - S.Dymov). 
   Preliminary agreement with the COSY crew is that the experiment will run up 
   to around May, 6. 

3. ANKE Physics Workshop in Juelich (5/6 May):
   based on your comments, we have prepared the first DRAFT of the agenda for
   this meeting and corresponding document is available from our home page
   (via  -> 'Collaboration Meeting').
   Please, have a look and give us your suggestions.

4. Dubna Workshop (20/27 June):
   we have also prepared the first DRAFT of the workshop program and this
   document is available from the workshop web page (access is possible via
   ANKE web -> 'events'). 
   Let me remind you to register and send copy (scan of page with the photo) 
   of your passport to Anatoly Kulikov (kulikov@nusun.jinr.ru) ASAP!!!
